Borated Polyethylene

Borated Polyethylene Neutron Shielding is a lightweight, cost effective neutron shielding solution to attenuate and absorb neutron radiation. Our boronized polyethylene contains a boron content of 7.4% by weight (9% available on special order). Used in the medical, nuclear and industrial markets, borate polyethylene is ideal for medical safes and doors, particle accelerators, hot cells, nuclear storage and transport containers, and nuclear detection systems.
